Rated 18 by PEGI, Murdered Soul Suspect is set in Salem, Massachusetts, and follows a skilled detective named Ronan O'Connor who is violently murdered by a monstrous and relentless killer when he gets caught in the midst of a burglary. Not having achieved a sense of peace or closure at his end, and stuck in the limbo world called Dusk, Ronan returns as a ghost in order to uncover the mystery that is his death. Ronan now looks for the person who is responsible for his demise through the use of his supernatural powers while battling demonic creatures who wish to devour his soul. Through the course of his journey, Ronan is assisted by Joy, a young girl who witnesses Ronan’s grotesque death. Joy also has the extraordinary ability to see and communicate with ghosts, a characteristic that she inherited from her psychic mother who went missing due to unfortunate circumstances. The gameplay sees the player controlling Ronan. You have to explore the haunted town of Salem and its places such as; the many wooden houses, Salem’s narrow streets, mental asylums and gothic churches in order to get a lead on the case that is Ronan’s death. Your vengeance is in your own hands, how far will you go to bring about a reckoning?
