A single-player action-adventure video game that was developed by Airtight Games and Square Enix Japan and published by Square Enix, Murdered Soul Suspect runs on the Unreal Engine 3. The storyline of this game is set in Salem, Massachusetts, and follows a masterly detective named Ronan O'Connor. After getting himself killed in the line of work by a monstrous serial-killer called the Bell Killer, Ronan gets stuck in the limbo world of “Dusk”. Now, in order to escape Dusk, Ronan must complete unfinished business by bringing his killer to justice. Hence, Ronan returns as a ghost to serve cold vengeance to his assailant. A young girl named Joy, who has the ability to see and interact with ghosts, witnesses Roy’s brutal death and decides to help him on his quest for justice as well. The user plays as Ronan and needs to utilize his new-found supernatural abilities to track down the Bell Killer by exploring the many narrow streets, wooden houses, mental asylums and gothic churches of Salem for clues that could lead him to the Bell Killer. As Ronan, you must also battle demonic spirits that are out to eat your soul.
