Arab history celebrated the biography of Muhammad, and devoted long volumes to it, which mentioned the events of the birth and upbringing of the Prophet, and it elaborated on the events of his life from birth to death with many details supported by chains of transmission and immersed in the details of the events and their dates. When Al-Aqqad wrote this book, his goal was not to present a new presentation of the biography of Muhammad, but rather he wanted to highlight the features of the genius of the human prophet whom God chose with selected circumstances that refined his personality, and with unique human abilities that enabled him to carry the message. It also presents to us aspects of the life of the merciful preacher, the companion of his people, and the expert in what is good for them. He was the noble military leader and the seasoned politician who was also able to skilfully manage the affairs of the nascent Islamic state, and it also comes close to his human qualities, as he is the compassionate husband and the affectionate father despite the enormity of the mission for which he was sent.
