Movcam MOVCAM DSMC2 Studio Kit for RED Weapon, Epic W, Scarlet W and Raven

The long awaited Movcam DSMC2 Kits are now available for use with the RED Weapon, EPIC W, Scarlet W and Raven. Movcam has worked with RED users and based on their research created an optimal solution focused on utility, design and compatibility. Both the Base Kit and Studio Kit include the innovative Multi Function Top Plate as well as the Hot Swap adaptor. These two parts were created to work with one another as well as with or without the RED I/O Expander. The Multi-Function Top Plate features a stock fan opening, many 1/4" 20 threads for accessories and offers the following connectors:
• 2x HDSDI Outputs (Only available when combined with the Movcam Hot Swap Adaptor)• 2x Aux Power Outputs - 2 Pin Lemo (Requires RED I/O Expander or Movcam Hot Swap Adaptor)• 1x HDMI Output - (Simultaneous operation with top pogo EVF port)• 1x Start/Stop - 3 Pin Fischer (At this time in order for this to function correctly the OEM RED Trigger Handle must be mounted for this feature to work properly.)• Touch A - For pogo pin mounted EVF/LCD monitors• Touch B - Lemo adaptor for legacy viewfinder cable input• Toggle switch for Touch A or Touch B (Only one output can be active with the Multi-Function Top Plate)• Note: Both top mounted monitor and Lemo connected viewfinder can be utilized if the additional Lemo adaptor is used (comes with either the Base Kit or Studio Kit)
• Retractable HDSDI pins to connect with Movcam Hot Swap Adaptor
• Retractable D-Tap to connect with either RED I/O Expander or Movcam Hot Swap Adaptor

The Multi-Function Top Plate also offers mounting points for the Movcam Top Handle as well as the stock top handle. The Hot Swap Adaptor offers peace of mind and allows continuous operation during critical battery replacement and assists by avoiding camera restart delays. When a battery is mounted to either the RED I/O Expander or the Movcam Battery Bracket (available in V-Mount or Gold Mount) the LED display on the Hot Swap Adaptor displays current input voltage. When a battery is not present, the LED display offers a 2 min countdown; the amount of time you have to swap the battery before the camera shuts down. Time may vary depending on the amount of accessories powered by the camera, Multi-Function Top Plate, RED I/O Expander or the Movcam Battery Bracket. The Movcam Hot Swap Adaptor does not ship with internal batteries and is compatible with easily found High Output 18650 Lithium Ion Rechargeable batteries. The Movcam Hot Swap adaptor requires 3 18650 batteries.
