Morning Rounds: Daily Devotional Stories

Perpetual daily devotional stories written by students, alumni, faculty, and friends of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. This collective group of authors represents a diversity of ages, life experiences, geographic locations, religions, cultures, and races. Many of their essays vary greatly as they tell of unanswered prayers, answers to simple prayers, and even answers to prayers for the seemingly impossible. How you, the reader, view these reflections will be individualized as well. It is important to note that what these writers have in common is a connection with the School of Medicine in some way, and a real love for and trust in God. What is shared individually by each of them is very personal indeed. Our prayer is that you will find those passages that speak directly to you-that give you hope, inspiration, comfort, new insights, and perhaps a deeper appreciation for this medical school and God's leading of it for the past 100 years. If you are successful in finding any or all of these things within the following pages, then our purpose for compiling this book will have been achieved.
