This set of Mont Marte Gesso Brushes offers fantastic value for money.
The flat head hog bristle shape is perfect for priming canvas, varnishing and for painting large background areas. The soft absorbent bristles hold paint well, making them great for watercolour washes too.
Used to apply gesso, a white paint-like medium, to artist's canvas for priming/ undercoating before painting.
This versatile brush can also be used to apply varnish, glaze, glue, watercolour washes, stain and dye.
Gesso brushes feature a comfortable ergonomic timber handle packed with hog bristles contained an aluminium ferrule that enables a lot of paint/ emulsion to be smoothly applied.
