Minyak Zaitun atau olive oil dikenal sebagai minyak super kaya manfaat. Minyak zaitun adalah minyak yang telah diekstraksi dari buah zaitun. Proses produksinya sangat sederhana. Untuk mendapatkan minyak zaitun, buah zaitun melalui proses penekanan untuk mengekstaksi minyaknya.
Minyak zaitun jenis pomace adalah minyak zaitun yang diekstraksi dari residu yang tersisa setelah buah ditekan. Setelah buah zaitun dipres, buah zaitun meninggalkan residu yang mengandung minyak dan air. Setelah minyak dan air dihilangkan, residu masih mengandung sejumlah minyak yang dapat diekstraksi.
Karena diekstraksi hanya dari residu, Virgin Olive Oil dicampur untuk membantu meningkatkan kualitas. Karena proses ini, Olive Pomace Oil adalah jenis minyak yang cocok untuk memasak dengan panas tinggi. Minyak ini juga sering dijadikan campuran produk perawatan tubuh.
