The high-carbon, high-chromium D2 steel drop-point knife blade features plenty of cutting belly and is long-wearing and abrasion and rust resistant. The blade holds its factory edge for a long time and opens with a spine flipper that unlocks swivel bearings in the casing. A steel frame lock runs the length of the spine, and an extra ball stop inside the Milwaukee straight-handle pocket knife keeps the blade locked in place when opened. A finger release unlocks the blade for closing, with interior ball stop to keep the blade tightly jacketed until activated. The Milwaukee 2.5-inch Hardline smooth-blade pocket knife casing, with a matte black oxide finish, consists of steel on the mechanical side and glass-filled nylon on the other, textured for a sure grip.
