Metabo's heavy duty 15 Amp, 2,200-watt AC/DC motor produces 6,600 rpm with optimized air flow for increased overload capacity under heavy loads in tough applications like weld preparation, grinding and brushing weld seams, metal removal, cutting rod, angle iron and pipe. The motor includes externally accessible auto-stop carbon brushes for easy service and to protect the motor and epoxy coated field windings for long service life.
