The MEINL Turbo Cabasas are a superb innovation with significantly more volume than normal cabasas. This added projection comes from sound ports located in the resonating chamber that allows a crisp, full tone to come from the instrument. The Turbo Cabasas bring the classic cabasa sound to a new level that will cut through any sonic environment. MEINL cabasas are equipped with a stainless steel ribbed cylinder with stainless steel beads and a padded wooden handle for a soft grip. These percussion instruments may be played in a variety of ways from scratching the beads over the cylinder and spinning the cylinder to create a sustained rattle.
