OXYGEN GAUGE Oxygen Gauge is used at several places in hospital and health care industry. This gauge is used in Regulators in hospitals. Gauge pressure range is 0 kg per cm² to 250 kg per cm². Generally regulators are operated at a maximum pressure of 150 kg/cm². The following regulators are used with these gauges. 1. FA Valve Regulator 2. Single Stage Single gauge Mox Oxygen regulator 3. Single stage double gauge Mox oxygen regulator 4. Double stage Oxygen regulator During regular operating process in hospitals gauge get damaged and regulator may not be useful for the intended purpose. So in that situation it can be repaired by replacing the gauges with spanner. Use Teflon tape around the threading of the gauge before fitting to the regulator. This is done to avoid possible leakage. How to identify the gauge is damaged : Check the gauge indicator and if it is not moving it is defective Fit the regulator to oxygen cylinder and release gas. If any leakage of oxygen is found with gauge then it is defective and need to be replaced. Precautions to be taken for longer usage: User cylinder trolleys while using cylinders Handle the regulators with proper and avoid falling on floor as the gauge gets damaged when falls on floor.
