These founts are carefully crafted, inspired by the famous inscription of the Trajan Column. What has allowed to this lettering to endure in time till our digital age? How was defined its forms to the point of achieving an ideal of beauty balance and readability and become the source of inspiration in Middle Ages and later in the Italian renaissance? And so, become a reference for every typographic designer? Between the end of the Republic and the age of Augustus, there is a significant increase in the use of marble in Rome that radically changes the face of the urban epigraph, consisting of a different and more sophisticated technique, the process of preparation in stone cutters workshops.
