The 5-Inch SJS™ II Angle Grinder with Tuck Point Guard has a 10-Amp motor that runs the wheel at a speed of 10,000 rpm for fast cutting and burr removal. Spiral beveling on the gears transmit power efficiently, and leaf spring reduces vibrations. Its gear drive system slips the gears when the wheel suddenly stops, preventing damage to the motor. Labyrinth seals and zig-zag epoxy keep dust and debris out of the Makita electric angle grinder, and the point guard has a dust extraction feature to keep the air cleaner. A tool-less wheel guard and locking power switch keep productivity high. The Makita 5-inch SJS II angle grinder's included guard makes it easy to perform tuck points and cuts, and the handle is adjustable for ergonomic work..
