Makita 42 lb. AVT Breaker Hammer Accepts 1-1/8 in. Hex Bits

Insert bull-point and flat chisels into the Makita® 42-Pound AVT® Demolition Hammer, Accepts 1-1/8-Inch Hex Bits, to break up and demo concrete. The demo hammer has a 14-Amp motor with variable-speed controls that put out between 730 and 1,450 bpm at up to 25.7 foot-pounds of impact. The Makita 42-pound AVT demolition hammer has soft-start technology to prevent the bit from walking on impact, as well as electronic speed control to maintain power under load. Makita's AVT internal-counterweight technology absorbs impact shocks to reduce fatigue. A soft rubber grip, easy-to-reach power slide switch and 360-degree swiveling side handle provide ergonomic comfort. A long, 16.4-foot cord gives you room to move. The Makita electric demolition hammer has an onboard LED indicator to provide a service warning for brush changing, as well as notification of switch or power cord malfunction. Reinforced composite materials, oversize motor brushes and a hammer-off-at-idle feature all extend the life of the tool.
