The Makita XSC02T brushless metal circular saw cuts through several common metal verieties, including angle irons, pipe, channel, conduit, sheet metal, steel, threaded rod, and several others. As a dedicated metal saw, the blades are smaller than traditional wood saws and run at a lower RPM, and cut through metal without the sparks you might encounter with an angle grinder. It has a 2-1/4 In. cutting capacity that lets you cut through 2 In. conduit in a single pass. The saw is designed to use 5-7/8 In. blades, but also accepts 5-3/8 In. blades for smaller operations.
