They create a nesting joint that is stronger and easier to glue up without shifting than the traditional miter joint. Material thickness can be up to 2-inches thick allowing for deep cut profiles such as turnings fluting and spirals on the Legacy Ornamental Mill. This carbide tipped bit is specifically designed and manufactured for the high quality demanded by woodworking industrial applications. The cutting edges of this router bit are made from high industrial grade micrograin carbide tips brazed onto a heat-treated high-carbon steel body thus leading to exceptional hardness and rigidity.
