Karigane tea (or Kukicha) is made of tea leaves and tea stems together. It contains more vitamin C than other types of green tea and has a savory, mellow taste.
This Ohmi Kabuse Karigane is made of Ohmi Kabusecha(Kabuse cha means 'shaded tea'). The tea bushes are shaded from direct sunlight for 18-20 days. Thanks to this process it has a rich taste with a very pleasant sweet aftertaste.
