They found rare photographs, forgotten plantation cemeteries, abandoned ante-bellum mansions, and the people who remembered, to produce this outstanding reference and interesting collection of Limestone County's priceless past. Interwoven stories, fables, and recollections lost to the soft black of the past have been carefully recorded, along with the genealogy of these pioneers and squires, and their final resting places.
