The SM410A series is equipped with a robust 4-inch, 15W single cone driver, featuring a durable paper cone and a 10oz. magnet. This is paired with a factory-wired 70V transformer, offering primary taps at 4, 2, 1, .5, and .25 watts, including an "OFF" position. This versatile setup ensures compatibility with a wide range of applications, from in-ceiling speakers to open architecture truss type ceilings.Enclosed in a stylish black or white steel grille, the speaker assembly includes a 760 cu.in. backbox. This backbox, measuring 11.625"H x 11.625"W x 5.625"D, is acoustically lined with fiberglass for optimal sound quality. It also features externally accessible input leads and an SG handibox cover with dual combination knockouts for flex conduit and a 1/2" Romex connector, accommodating installations without conduit.The SM410A Sound Masking Speaker also includes a choice of hanger/chain mounting hardware. The removable wire hangers are factory-mounted to aim upwards but can be reconfigured to aim downwards or sideways.
