Living Community: A Permaculture Case Study at Sol y Sombra [signed] [first edition]

Ben Haggard is the master gardener responsible for the design and implementation of the organic gardening, ecological restoration and permaculture project at Sol y Sombra in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is widely sought as a consultant, teacher, and designer. An artist, philosopher, researcher and talented horticulturist, Ben's ecological landscaping projects are productive and beautiful simultaneously. He has found a way to improve and protect land by making it productive. His ideas can be used in back yards, vacant lots, and degraded public lands. The Sol y Sombra Foundation interests include designing and conducting educational programs on sustainable food growing, ecological restoration, soil and water conservation, and habitat enhancement for wildlife.
