Literature Pockets: Nonfiction, Grades 4-6+

The twelve pockets in Literature Pockets, Nonfiction Grades 4-6+, incorporate literature and the Dewey Decimal System into meaningful activities. The first pocket presents the Dewey decimal system and includes activities for finding books in the library. The remaining 11 pockets present activities for various types of nonfiction as they are organized according to the Dewey Decimal System. The nonfiction subjects include: people, religion & myths, folklore, language, nature & animals, mathematics, science & technology, arts, sports, & recreation, poetry & plays, history & travel, and biography.
