Before using the pot for the first time, wash in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly. Low/medium heat is sufficient for obtaining the best cooking result. Never overheat the pot. Enamel is an excellent conductor of heat, and continual overheating could damage the coating. Do not heat the pot when it is empty. After use, leave the pot to cool for a while, clean it with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly. Some aggressive dishwashing soap can damage the products. Wash by hand is suggested. A slight colour change of the coating inside the pot does not negatively affect the quality of the product or its effectiveness during use.
