Les Djo-Bourgeois, Elise (1894-1986) et Georges (1898-1937). Lui est décorateur et architecte, contemporain de Pierre Chareau et Charlotte Perriand, et prisé par Robert Mallet-Stevens, les Noailles, la princesse Faucigny-Lucinge. Elle s?impose comme l?une des créatrices textiles majeures de son époque avec Hélène Henry et Sonia Delaunay. Mariés, ils sont aussi de fidèles collaborateurs. Leurs créations sont diffusées par les grands magasins de l?époque, celui du Louvre en France et Metz & Co en Hollande. Ils sont les premiers à développer un style minimaliste alliant géométrie et aplats de couleurs, un style qui annonce les créations modernes d?Andrée Putman, Tadao Andõ, et dans la mode celle d?Issey Miyake et Helmut Lang.
