T. E. Lawrence, or Lawrence of Arabia as he is better known, is best remembered for his role in the Arabia during the First World War. These revolts are part of many smaller conflicts that sprang up at the time of the Great War and such scattered episodes as these were what made a singularly savage European war into the world's first truly global conflict.
