Region: Preanger, Java, Indonesia. Preanger is mountainous region in the West of Java. Preanger is also known as Parahyangan in Sundanese (local language.) There are seven mountains listed as Preanger mountains; Salak, Papandayan, Patuha, Gede, Cereme, Cikuray and Tangkuban Perahu. These mountains of Java Preanger are known as the early plantations by Dutch colonization at around late of the 16th. Now, Java Preanger is certified by the geographical indication from Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights since 2012.

Badak Jawa: Badak Jawa (Javan Rhino/ Rhinoceros sondaicus) is one of the five species that still exist in the World. The special distinction of Badak Jawa is with their horn. The male has one small horn; and the female has no horn. Badak Jawa used to roam all over Asia, but now they are only about 50 of them protected in the National Park Ujung Kulon, Banten, Indonesia. Their horns are traded illegally mostly for traditional medicine. The adults’ weights are about 900 – 2,300 kg (1.984 – 5.070 lbs) with 3 meter long, and about 1.5 meter height.
