The lens adapter has a silky smooth adjustable aperture ring to precisely set the iris blades at any point on the engraved collar. Even though no camera to lens automation or link exists within the adapter, the Nikon F mount SLR can provide aperture priority or manual shooting modes, as well as stop-down metering, for exposure control. While infinity focus is retained in this design, only manual focusing is possible.
