The corners of the book has nice clean and sharp corners. The lettering on the spine are silver and burgundy. The dust jacket shows some light foxing on the inside of the jacket, lightly fading and rubbing on the edges with several tiny tears. The book itself is in great condition. Ken W. Purdy " is widely regarded as the dean of American motoring writers. He has written seven books on the automobile. He is the author of the Encyclopaedia Britannica's section on the historical development of the automobile and a three time winner of the Annual Playboy Award for the best short story or article of the year."
