Keeping Time

Whoever said there were no second acts never met Daisy Phillips. Seventy-year-old Daisy is sick of being treated like an old lady. Her son wants her to sell her lovely English home and move to an assisted-living community, the library has graciously declined her continued services as a volunteer, and her best friend is moving away for the summer. So when Daisy finds a long-forgotten watch that belonged to her first fiance, Michael Baker, a young American soldier stationed in England during World War II, Daisy decides to go to America for one more chance at adventure.Determined to track down the man she loved and lost touch with all those years ago, Daisy settles in with her slightly off-kilter American cousins, roping the family into helping her with her quest to be reunited with Michael. Though Daisy realizes all too well that it might be just a little unrealistic, she knows she has quietly pinned all her hopes and dreams on a second chance at the love of a lifetime.
