This high-quality copy stand satisfies all requirements for heavy duty work with its precise height adjustment system with weight compensation by an integrated coil spring. You can easily position your work with the well-marked printed grid markings on the 18" x 20"/450 x 500 mm solidly constructed baseboard which is finished in a glare-free non-reflecting matt black. The baseboard has a fitted mount which fastens the column to the Repro Arm. and a spirit level is integrated into the mount which makes alignment a sure thing. The feet can be individually adjusted in height. The extra wide special aluminum tube Column is also in a matt black anodized finish. It features cm and inch scales, and a hand crank for height adjustment. The strong pedestal incorporates a a spirit level for precisely levelling the complete unit. The RA-1 Repro Arm on the RS-1 Stand ensures exact & secure fastening of the camera. Any type of camera system can be mounted to the Repro Arm with the easily to change camera screw, which can easily be changed from a 1/4" screw to a 3/8" screw if needed. Absolutely parallel mounting is guaranteed at all times with the RA-1 repro arm which features 4 centering holes for precise adjustment of the optional repro bellows and graduated stage, as the aligning pins fit exactly in the repro arm holes. the RA1 repro arm enables any particular camera mounting position to be reset with it exacting adjustment device. So it adapts to 35mm by positioning it so that the bottom of the camera is exactly level, while Medium Format Cameras can be quickly changed by the adjusment device used as a stop for the side of the camera body, easily adapting this system to different camera bodies.
