The film narrates the story of a father and a son in the backdrop of two different times and places. They were parted from each other never to meet again yet their thirst for life and the desperation of telling the unspoken words made them meet in the strangest situation. We see Sumonto, the son in pain and solitude. His rejection of an amoral compromise barred him from getting the promotion at his office; his cold and mechanical relationship with wife Supriya took a worse turn. But his faith in life itself made him live The film talks about the strange, ever changing human relationships, hued with the grandeur of traveling theatre troupe and embroidered with a series of surreal sequences with the touches of humour.
