KB's History of Saturday Night's Main Event

Back in the 1980s, professional wrestling hit a boom that it had never seen before. Powered by the strength of Hulk Hogan and the strength of Wrestlemania, the WWF secured a series of specials on NBC. The show was called Saturday Night's Main Event and offered something completely new in wrestling: big name stars battling it out on free TV. Instead of going to a show to see them, you could now watch these matches from home. In this book, I'll be looking at all thirty six episodes of the series, as well as the five Main Event specials. I'll include play by play, analysis and historical context of one of the most important and influential series in the history of professional wrestling.
