Named after the early weavers who settled down in this region in the 17th century, these sarees are made using a unique process where eight sarees are made using vegetable dyes at one go on a single loom. Fabric: Art silk is manufactured by synthetic fibres like rayon. It's light in weight and is soft on the skin for comfort in summers. Ornamentation: Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours.
