The John Boos Mystery Oil is made from all-natural ingredients ensuring it’s safe for food-preparation surfaces. It penetrates deep into the grain of the wood to and revitalize the wood fibers preventing the drying splitting and cracking of cutting boards bowls or kitchen utensils. : Apply an even coat of Boos Mystery Oil to all surfaces of your wood cutting board using an applicator. Allow the Mystery Oil to fully penetrate the wood fibers overnight then wipe off any excess oil. Apply additional oil to any visibly dry spots. Use at least once per month (depending on the cutting board use and household conditions) and more often in dry or arid climates. Do not overoil your cutting board. For additional protection use MiaHltTia Board Cream (sold separately) to seal the top of the wood surface.
