Netraprabha Anjana Plus is formulated with Honey, Kapoor and effective medicinal herbs like Triphala and Neem, Haridra. Honey and Kapoor control infection and inflammation. They have antiseptic like properties. Kapoor is a counter irritant. It has been known to provide cooling effect to the eyes as well. Hence Kapoor is used topically to relieve pain and reduce itching. Honey considered “Chakshushya”-good for eyes, by Ayurveda, provides necessary nutrition to the eye tissue. Honey has antibacterial effect and can be used to prevent corneal scarring caused by infection. Triphala, augments the ocular strength, specially helps in Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). The ingredients of Triphala(i.e. Amla, Bibhitak and Haritaki) have Antimicrobial property. Netraprabha Anjana Plus eye drops contain Neem Bark that decrease the infection, acts against germs and fungi; also soothes eyes and reduces stress. Haridra helps in immune-modulation by correcting metabolism, enabling free circulation of nutrients and oxygen to every cell due to its anti-oxidation property. The essence of all the tissues i.e. ojas regains its strength due to proper nutrition and replenishment of all the tissues thus establishing immunity. Blood, sweat, and tears all contain salt, and both the skin and the eyes are protected from infectious germs by the anti-bacterial effect of Saindhav (rock salt). Swarna Makshik Bhasma has bitter, sweet principles, aphrodisiac and anti-aging properties. It balances Kapha and Pitta, useful in the treatment of eye diseases, inflammation.
