Jazz Piano Pieces, Grade 1

This is a wealth of jazz repertoire in a carefully graded book. There is a huge range of styles, from up-tempo swing tunes to funky rock grooves and pieces are presented in three categories, blues, standards and contemporary jazz. The contemporary jazz pieces are specially commissioned for the syllabus from professional jazz musicians and heads of pieces are fully notated for idiomatic performance. There is a structured help given in solo sections, containing all the pieces for the Associated Board's new jazz piano exam.
