It requires 2 AA batteries not included in the pack. The different tool heads can be screwed on top of the main body without using any kind of aid. Its very easy to screw or unscrew. After attaching the tool head, just insert the paper strip and press the button and your coil is ready before you can blink. If you want to coil multiple strips, it is recommended that you stick the edges of strips one after the other and than insert one end of the coil in the tool head. For best results we recommend to use only Quill On strips. All Quill On strips are made of standardized paper which gives you uniform coiling results, unlike those available in the market -wherein the thickness and weight of paper and hence the coiling result may also vary.
