This set, consisting of two 2oz (59.2ml) bottles, is specifically designed to gently yet effectively remove light scratches from most types of plastics, ensuring your equipment maintains its pristine condition. Please note, the effectiveness of scratch removal may vary based on the depth of the scratches and the method of polish application. NOVUS #1, the first bottle in the set, is a gentle cleanser that leaves a lustrous shine on your plastic surfaces. It not only resists fogging but also repels dust and eliminates static, keeping your equipment clean and clear for longer. The second bottle, NOVUS #2, is adept at removing very fine scratches, haziness, and abrasions from most plastics. It's a perfect solution for those minor imperfections that can affect the quality of your images or videos. For heavier scratches and abrasions on most acrylic surfaces, a combination of NOVUS #2 and NOVUS #3 is recommended. However, please note that NOVUS #3 is fairly abrasive and should be used with caution. Before attempting to polish out your scratches, it's recommended to take your system diving. Often, scratches will fill in with water and remain invisible in most photos. When applying the polish, use only light pressure to avoid leaving permanent "swirls" in the surface. Please note that this product is not recommended for use on coated plastics, polycarbonates, or ports with deep scratches. In such cases, it is advised to return the equipment to Ikelite for repair or replacement.
