Two-in-one volume of the works originally published in 1919 and 1920, with a Foreward added by Christiaan Biel. Account and around 200 games with annotations, of the two strong chess tournaments held in San Sebastian, Spain in 1911 and 1912. The first, organized by Mieses, was won by Capablanca, ahead of Rubinstein, Vidmar and Marshall, in a field of 15. The following year, Rubinstein was the victor, ahead of Spielmann and Nimzowitsch, one of five tournaments he won within a one year span.
