I'm Listening Lord, Keep Talking

Author Robert J. Baker believes prayer is a two-way street and believes we all have plenty to both say and listen to in our individual conversations with God. In his Epilogue, he goes further and states his belief that "God speaks to us through our wonderful minds... there is a certain satisfaction, contentment, happiness, assurance, that comes from listening to God's voice." In these 56 "meditations", each preceded by a Bible verse, Baker shares stories from his personal life and the prayers they've engendered, conveyed in a personal, familiar way. He also includes space at the end of each for the reader to write their own prayer, if so inclined. A thoughtful and personal spin on devotional literature.
