The automatic production line starts with a high-quality 1/2 chuck supported by a pair of sealed ball bearings. The shaft end is a standard quick-release joint which can be used to install any cordless or rope drilling rig. There is a pair of Teflon sleeves on the chuck bracket which are sleeved on two stainless steel columns to keep the chuck completely vertical when drilling. One column has a spring to help you control the cutting and the other column has an adjustable stop ring. Note: There is a taper milled on the stop ring column. The stopper only needs fingertip pressure to maintain its position... When it is locked on the cone it is almost impossible to knock the stopper out of position. At the bottom of the automatic production line there is a laser engraving center line around the opening. Just align the bright white index mark with the witness mark on the stock to accurately locate the drilling position. A V-shaped groove is milled on the base to safely drill round blanks. The opening on the base can drill 3/4 holes. When you need to drill more than 3/4 holes just remove the post cap turn the chuck bracket to make it outside the base and then drill 2 holes. When you need to align the hole on the plate install the centering pin on the base and rotate it until one pin is close to each side of the blank. Now your drill is completely centered. It is suitable for 3-1/8 wide stock. When not in use the centering pin can be conveniently stored on the top of the base. We have processed the Allen key to install the pin on the bottom of the post cap... You can find the right pin without sorting in the coffee pot filled with the Allen key. The multifunctional fence can be adjusted to the base along a pair of stainless steel guide rods. The fence can slide under the base to work close to the edge or turn it over to get the maximum distance. When you work on narrow edges place the fence so that the wide surface provides additional support. Moreover when you do not use the fence at all turn it so that the thin edge provides legs to improve stability. Drill holes at the bottom and tap the fence guide rods on all four edges. There is always one direction left right front or rear to extend the fence. An optional set of fence guide extensions can add 12 or 24 to the base fence capacity of 7 .
