Humility, Abide in Christ, and Absolute Surrender

Humility is a devotional written by Andrew Murray in which he calls upon Christians to turn away from pride. Murray believes that true humility comes when we surrender ourselves to God. Abide in Christ is a thirty-one day devotional with Murray providing great insight on how to grow closer to Jesus. Absolute Surrender is a devotional in which Murray describes in great detail why the concept of surrender is so difficult yet very necessary. Andrew Murray was a South African pastor and Christian writer who considered missions to be the chief ed of the church. Murray was one of the leading figures during the South African Revival of 1860. Today he is best remembered as a writer of hundreds of Christian books, many of which are still widely read today including Abide in Christ, Absolute Surrender, and With Christ in the School of Prayer.
