The question "What is a house?" cannot be answered unequivocally nowadays. Even if a house has to meet the same requirements as it always has, ie it has to offer space for cooking, sleeping, washing and communicating, these wishes are met in many different ways. We should therefore refrain from a uniform definition that specifies exactly what a home should look like. A house must be designed with a number of considerations in mind. The adaptation of the house to the climate and landscape of its location as well as the financial resources and needs of the future residents are decisive, but not final, criteria of its design. An architect can implement the same concepts with different strategies.
