Hound of Heaven: The Life of Saint Dominic de Guzmán

This biography of Saint Dominic was published in 1891, but since this time, it has fallen out of print. Now for the first time in over 100 years, this complete biography is being re-printed. Not only is it perhaps the best work on the saint in English, but it includes many episodes in the lives of the first members of the Dominican Order. The authoress had published an earlier work which is currently in print, but this treatment of the saint's life is more complete, and well-researched. All of the early sources of Saint Dominic's life are examined, and this edition far surpasses the earlier work in scope and erudition. It is a book well worth reading by every Catholic.
