The Purpose of This Book Is to Create a Closer Understanding Between the Horse Owner and the Veterinarian. It Is My Purpose Not to Make a Veterinarian Out of a Horseman but Simply to Increase the Horseman's Knowledge of His Animal. I Have Stressed Principles of Treatment Rather Than Techniques. However, the Techniques That Are Included in This Book Have Been Well Tested Over the Years, and Their Success Is Documented in the Daily Newspaper and in the Racing Form, Especially in the Win, Place, and Show Columns.
