The game starts with Agent 47 confronting his handler Diana Burnwood to get information on who is hunting him. With Diana now on the Agency's hit list, Agent 47 must find out who is hunting him and put an end to it all. New features such as the Instinct Mode allows Agent 47 to predict enemy patrol routes so that he can either hide or plan how to execute them. The overall game has been improved to provide a more console-like third person shooter experience.
