The single-player narrative follows Agent 47, a genetically enhanced human clone who served as an assassin for the International Contract Agency (ICA). However, when his sole friend, Reverend Emilio Vittorio, was taken hostage by unidentified intruders, 47 decided to resume his job for the ICA to find him.
