Forced to marry and have children, she is still dreaming of candy and colored wax bracelets. Since then, she has been swinging between the waves of life, rising with the happy wave and descending with the painful wave, so her world becomes more alien than the worlds of stories and novels. Hanan Al-Sheikh reaffirms her talent for distinctive storytelling and monitoring events with momentum and transparency, thus transforming her mother into the heroine of her novels.
