Simply remove the rechargeable battery pack drawer from the unit and insert the new AC mains adapter drawer in its place. All other adjustments are done automatically by the unit and within 1-2 seconds the unit is operational. Switch from 230 V mains operation to rechargeable battery back operation in only 5 seconds: Switch off Porty, push the release button of the mains adapter drawer, pull out the insert, and put in the rechargeable battery pack, done! That quick and you are independent from any power socket. Let's go to the beach, to the top of Mount Everest, or to a decommissionedfactory. You don't need a connection for power supply.
