When your beloved son is taken away from you due to a twist of fate, you would obviously be broken in spirit and without a sense of purpose. However, when your other son goes missing and may be at the risk of dying as well, how far would you be willing to go to to find and save him? Developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Heavy Rain Move Edition is an interactive drama action-adventure single-player PS3 game that has a PEGI rating of 18. The storyline of this game revolves around Ethan Mars who, after witnessing the death of his young son due to a car accident and being injured himself, goes into a coma. After he wakes up, he becomes exceedingly depressed and suffers from blackouts and agoraphobia. One day, when he is out with his other son, he blacks out and finds him missing. To his horror, the missing of his son is linked to the Origami Killer who drowns the children that he abducts. Ethan must now accomplish the tasks that he is posed with by the killer in order to find the whereabouts of his only beloved son and rescue him. Progressively getting more gruesome, the challenges that he is given include racing against the traffic at high speeds for five minutes, severing a part of his finger, killing a man and many other brutal acts. You can play as four different characters and, in the game, you can move about freely to your whims. You are required to interact with objects and other non-player characters who will lead you to a circumstance that is specific to your interaction with them. Hence, the ending is not certain, as your actions will decide the future, thereby granting a more personal experience of the game. This Move Edition of Heavy Rain allows you to use the Move controller in order to perform the many objectives of the game in greater detail. When the player is near an interactive entity a context sensitive icon will pop up that’ll show you the controls you need to do in order to get the task done.
