He Thought He'd Retired

Village extraordinaire, Gerry Fosdal, best known in Rockdale as the man who mows the outer banks and tends the village gardens (that he helped to create) as well as walk/bike the village, has officially retired from the Village Board. But, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to steward the land, with an ever watchful eye for bettering his community, as well as serving his church, family and friends. On September 6th, Gerry turns 80! Here, in part, is how he’s contributed to our lives.
